Charity collections pay off at the Pan

A big thank you to everyone who supported our various charity collections over the weekend.

Let’s start with the collection for the Teenage Cancer Trust, who took £858 at Saturday’s game with East Thurrock. Over a third of that came from the proceeds from the raffle and Golden Goal competition.

Then there were the food bank collections, with Supporters Club and club staff helping with collections at Tesco and outside the ground on Saturday.

The club collection alone resulted in eight big bags of shopping being donated to the cause.

Overall, it was another record-breaking weekend for the Lewes food bank collection – organised by Lewes fan Mark Perryman – with more than 7,752 items donated.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed.
